John Crane brings a unique vision to his role of principal director of Cranecorp. His 20 years working across all facets of the real estate industry have seen him acquire the experience to fulfil this vision.
Prior to creating Cranecorp, John was one of the founders of red.c, a state-based property development company with a core focus of residential, retail and commercial property development.
Before the establishment of red.c John directed JD Crane Consulting, a firm offering property marketing and development management services. JD Crane Consulting specialised in town planning, feasibility preparation, marketing advice and finance packaging.
John has also held positions at some of Melbourne’s leading real estate groups, including Colliers Jardine, where he gained extensive experience in the areas of residential, industrial, commercial and retail property sales and marketing solutions.
Cranecorp undertakes property development with key investors in the residential, retail and commercial sectors.
Cranecorp collaborates with Australia's most experienced consultants to achieve the most desirable outcome for all developments. These developments are generally within a 10 - 20km radius of the countries CBD's.
Cranecorp is predominantly involved in principal investment and investment management activities in real estate. The company has established a number of investment projects in Melbourne and Perth that have provided excellent returns.
Cranecorp Real Estate Services (Cranecorp RES) is a joint initiative by John Crane and Anthony Ongarello. Our aim is to provide transaction and agency services to commercial and residential real estate markets, offering solutions and opportunities for a number of select clients and investment partners.
Our experience and market knowledge is wide ranging, encompassing medium and high-density residential development and marketing, mixed-use development, commercial property investment and development, retail property, property funds management and corporate real estate.
Anthony Ongarello is a highly experienced real estate/property executive with over 20 years in the industry. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma of Project Management and an Associate Diploma in Valuations. He is a certified Practising Valuer and a Licensed Estate Agent.
Anthony has worked nationally on major projects in a variety of industry roles, ranging from property investment and development analysis, asset acquisition and disposal to development and construction.
His work is mainly across the commercial and retail property sectors with Coles Myer, Mayne Group, CB Richard Ellis and more recently Westpac Funds Management where he assisted institutional bank customers in reviewing and providing strategies for their property holdings and balance sheet assets.
He first collaborated with John Crane over 5 years ago and since that time they have pursued a number of investment and development opportunities in both the commercial and residential space.
